AAPI Backless Ball
It’s a tradition. And a very colorful one as attendees of the AAPI Convention & Trade Show don their costumes for the association’s famous Backless Ball. So named because many of the costumes are the lace-up-the-back style actually used in the old time studio wardropes, the Ball is a major highlight of each year’s Convention. Attendees are invited to dress in “old time” or amusement costumes based on the year’s theme (not required…just a lot of fun)!
The 2025 Backless Ball is set for Thursday evening, January 30, the final event of our three-day convention. The evening will include a cocktail reception, a gala dinner, presentation of prizes and awards, plus dancing.
